If you need to find cash to fund your emergency fund of 3 to 6 months of living expenses than why not have a garage sale or sell your unused clothes to a consignment store. Consignment stores will usually pay you 50% of what your unused clothes would sell for. Ebay and Craigslist are other ways to sell your unnecessary belongings.
De-clutter your house and put money in your emergency fund! If you have a fully funded emergency fund than invest the money and see it grow!
